Level 4 Certificate In Education
Take the first steps in teaching and become a qualified tutor.
After completing, you will be able to use initial and diagnostic assessment, plan and deliver inclusive teaching and learning lessons.
Candidates must complete and evidence 30 hours of teaching learners individually or in groups as a requirement to gain this qualification.
Qualification Structure
Learners must achieve 36 credits in total. 21 credits from 5 mandatory units and a minimum of 15 credits must be achieved from the remaining optional units.
Learner Entry Requirements
No experience of previous teaching / assessing needed.
The course requires knowledge of a specialist subject area within own sector, to be able to assess a set criteria.
There is an element of communication (discussing, presenting, reading and writing) involved and learners should have basic skills in communication pitched at level 2
