Focus Awards Level 2 Award in Instructing Kettlebell Exercises (RQF)
The Focus Awards Level 2 Award in Instructing Kettlebell Exercises (RQF) is aimed at learners who already hold a Level 2 fitness qualification and are looking to extend their knowledge and understanding of kettlebell exercises. The qualification provides learners with knowledge of kettlebell exercises, including their benefits and limitations.
Age Ranges
Entry is at the discretion of the centre. However, learners should be aged 16 or over to undertake this qualification.
Learner Entry Requirements
A learner must have previously completed a Level 2 Fitness Instructing qualification.
Assessment Methods
This qualification is internally assessed. Each learner must create a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates achievement of all the learning outcomes and assessment criteria associated with each unit.
The main pieces of evidence for the portfolio could include some or all of the following:
- Assessor observation
- Witness testimony
- Learner product
- Worksheets
- Assignments/projects/reports
- Record of oral and written questioning
- Learner and peer reports
- Recognition of prior learning (RPL)
Progression Routes
Learners wishing to progress from this qualification can undertake the following qualifications:
- Focus Awards Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Personal Training (RQF)
- Focus Awards Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Exercise Referral (RQF)
- Focus Awards Level 2 Award in Delivering Studio Cycling (RQF)
- Focus Awards Level 2 Award in Delivering Circuits (RQF)
