Level 3 PE & School Sport Coaching
This qualification is aimed at those learners who currently work, or wish to work, in a physical education and school sport setting.
Qualify as a level 3 Teaching assistant and a Level 3 Sport Coach in one qualification!
The qualification provides learners with the knowledge and understanding of delivering physical education and sporting programmes with in schools. The qualification prepares learners for employment within a school sports environment, and covers communication and professional relationships, understanding child and young persons’ development, safeguarding, planning, delivery, and reviewing of Physical Education and School Sport Programmes.
Qualification Structure
Learners must complete 12 mandatory units achieving a total of 54 credits.
Learner Entry Requirements
Learners must be 16+
There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification, but practical elements will be assessed on the course.
There is an element of communication (discussing, coaching and feedback) involved and learners should have basic skills in communication pitched at level 2
