Level 3 Learning & Development (Assessors)
This award is designed as an introductory qualification in assessing and an understanding of the work-based learning sector. Help people learn new skills and improve existing practice so they can be more effective in their job roles.
Explore a range of assessment methods which can be used to evidence learners competency or skills. Understand how to create an individual approach to learning against a set criteria.
Qualification Structure
The learner must achieve a minimum of six units (30 credits). This consists of two mandatory units plus four optional units.
Learner Entry Requirements
No experience of previous teaching / assessing needed.
The course requires knowledge of a specialist subject area within own sector, to be able to assess a set criteria.
There is an element of communication (discussing, presenting, reading and writing) involved and learners should have basic skills in communication pitched at level 2
