Nathan Chesters - TA Apprentice

Nathan enrolled onto the level 3 Supporting Teaching and learning in schools in January 2023, after progressing from completing level 2Supporting Teaching and Learning. Nathan is an apprentice TA in Ysgol Cae'r Nant. Nathan is always pleasant and polite and ready to learn and help. He is respectful and clearly committed to his role. Nathan works with groups of children as well as on a one-to-one basis with children who require additional support. Nathan also supports with supervising children when eating their lunch, Nathan will then engage with them in energetic games afterwards.
Nathan has learnt many skills over the past few months and works confidently with the children. He is kind and empathetic when supporting children with their activities and he is clearly well suited to this type of role.
Nathan has said by completing an apprenticeship it has allowed me to take the skills that I have learnt from my work into the learning environment and become the best possible TA I can.
