Level 4 (ILM) Leadership and Management in Leisure

This qualification is aimed at new and aspiring Head leisure attendants, Duty managers, Gym Managers and other middle managers in Leisure. This qualification will help you get to grips with the role, gain comprehensive business knowledge and develop the skills you need to be a Leader and Manager in Leisure at this level.

Qualification Structure

To achieve a Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Management and Leadership, learners must complete a minimum of 53 credits.

  • 17 credits from MANDATORY UNITS
  • a minimum of 20 credits from GROUP 2 (OPTIONAL UNITS)
  • a maximum of 16 credits from GROUP 3 (OPTIONAL UNITS)

A minimum of 40 credits must be achieved through the completion of units at Level 4 or above.

Learner Entry Requirements

Learners must have the opportunity to undertake leadership and management responsibilities.

There is an element of communication (discussing, presenting, reading and writing) involved and learners should have basic skills in communication pitched at level 2
