My name is Nicola Roberts, and I am currently 51 years old. Over the past two years, I have been training at two local gyms, absorbing all there is to know about health and wellness. This includes understanding eating habits & exercise routines. I also qualified last year as an advanced master herbalist via the Centre of excellence. Last year, I came across the Level 2 Personal Training (PT) course online and immediately signed up. Although I didn't commence the course right away, Ben graciously understood my circumstances and offered me a second opportunity, for which I am extremely grateful.

Having spent many years in the food industry, I felt ready for a new challenge. The high-pressure environment was no longer suitable for me. Previously, I had pursued nursing, where I gained valuable knowledge in physiology and psychology, among other skills, which greatly assisted me during my studies. My ultimate goal was to become a Health & Wellness coach, and I have achieved that. I am now enrolled in the Level 3 PT course, with a focus on Health, Wellness & Fitness for women aged 50 and above.

This qualification has been instrumental in my journey towards maintaining fitness and health as I age. It has enriched my understanding and boosted my confidence to continue my educational pursuits.

I am currently developing my business, MENOfiT, starting with a trial program among friends to gather feedback, both positive and negative, allowing me to refine it into the best possible offering. My focus encompasses the five pillars of Wellness: harnessing positive energy, physical fitness, spiritual health, mental resilience, and emotional well-being and balance. I have authored two books: one on managing menopause naturally with plants and herbs, including wellness tips, and another featuring recipes for easy-to-prepare, nutritious meals that support overall health and, importantly, hormone balance. My goal for the next 12 months is to expand MENOFiT's membership and dedicate myself full-time to supporting women my age to thrive during this stage of our lives.
