Kevin Roberts
Kevin enrolled onto the Level 2 Diploma in Instructing Exercise and Fitness in 2023. Kevin has shown great determination to complete the course after having a serious accident injuring his leg. However, Kevin didn’t let this hold him and continued his theory work while in rehabilitation and gradually built his fitness back. He delivered and passed an excellent practical assessment in Bangor University and is now aiming to progress onto the Level 3 Personal Trainer course to develop his knowledge and skills even further.
After rupturing my quadricep tendon just before Christmas 2023 it definitely felt like a life altering injury ,I had many doubts in regards to completing the level 2 fitness instructor course I’d started with AMT.Luckily I had Alex as my tutor who was patient ,helpful and most importantly inspired me to carry on and complete the course at the hardest times of my recovery .Bad injuries seem to take over every aspect of your life so I can’t thank Alex and Achieve More Training enough for giving me this goal to focus on .
I think my aims are slightly different now. I've always enjoyed coaching (having previously coached as a Judo instructor) But I think I’d now really like to coach, train and inspire people in the 40+ age bracket,focusing on first-time trainers new to the gym environment or people who have also had traumatic injuries and need someone to have understanding and empathy to achieve their fitness goals and targets
