Conwy Schools Football Association Announcement:

We are thrilled to share that one of our own, Harvey Hendry, has been selected to represent the Welsh Schools FA. This is a remarkable achievement, and we are incredibly proud of Harvey's talent, hard work and dedication to the sport.

Harvey’s selection is a testament to his talent and commitment. We wish him the very best as he takes this exciting step in his footballing journey and represent Wales with pride!

A Message from Harvey's Parents:

We are incredibly proud of Harvey and everything he has achieved. Harvey is a truly hard-working young man, and the effort he puts into his daily routine at Ysgol John Bright fills us with pride. Whether it’s academics or sports, Harvey consistently gives his best.

When he's not training or playing with Connah’s Quay Nomads Academy, where he's really enjoying his football, he's back with the local lads at Conwy County, a team he’s been part of for over four years. More recently, he was selected for the Wales U16’s Regional Team, and now he has been given the incredible opportunity to join the Wales Schools FA Team – something he’s very excited about!

When he's not focused on school or football, Harvey enjoys playing golf at his local club. Like most teenagers, he also enjoys spending some of his free time gaming on his Xbox with his friends.

Harvey gives 100% in everything he does, and we couldn't be prouder of him. His dedication, both on and off the pitch, has led him to this well-deserved opportunity, and we know he will continue to work hard and strive for success. We are so proud of everything he's achieved so far, and we look forward to seeing where his passion and effort will take him next.

A Message from Harvey’s SFA Coach:

It has been an absolute pleasure to coach Harvey over the last 18 months or so. Harvey is one of those players who always gives 100%, and it’s clear to see his dedication to continuously keep on improving his game.

His recent selection for the Wales U16's Regional Team and now the Wales Schools FA Team is a testament to the effort and passion he puts into everything he does.

I am extremely proud of Harvey and all he’s achieved. He truly deserves this opportunity, and I have no doubt he will continue to excel at every level. It’s been a joy to watch him grow, and I’m excited to see what the future holds for him.

Harvey will be in action for the Welsh Schools FA Team vs Australian SFA on January 14th, 2025, at Ocean Park Arena kick off time to be confirmed. We wish him the very best and look forward to seeing how he gets on.
