Good News Story – Michelle Howell’s Fitness Journey
At Achieve More Training, we love celebrating our learners' success—and Michelle Howell is a truly inspiring example.
Michelle is a retired learner who decided it was never too late to follow her passion. With a lifelong love for health and fitness (starting all the way back in the 1980s—leg warmers and step aerobics included!), Michelle recently completed her Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification and is now preparing to start her Level 3 Personal Training qualification.
Michelle’s enthusiasm and dedication to helping others stay healthy is infectious. She’s particularly passionate about supporting older adults in her rural community—many of whom don’t have easy access to fitness opportunities.
“I am a retired learner and decided to embark on this qualification as health and fitness has always been a major part of my life. I started my journey back in the 80s (think leg warmers and step aerobics—hilarious!). I now hope to encourage other people that exercise, along with good nutrition, is the key to overall wellbeing.”

Her tutor, Ben Auger, had nothing but praise for Michelle:
“Michelle is a fantastic learner! Her work has been timely and of a great standard. Michelle is passionate about helping mainly older people in her local community who don’t have access to many types of exercise facilities because of their rural location.”
We’re proud to be part of Michelle’s journey and can’t wait to see the difference she’ll make in her community. She’s living proof that it’s never too late to make a healthy change and inspire others to do the same.
👏 Well done, Michelle!
