Lucky 13! Local football teams prepare for the return of football 

Thirteen boys, girls, Ladies teams and new U19 team in Rhyl were presented with brand new football kits this weekend, now that the FAW’s Return to Play protocols have meant a return to playing is on the horizon. 

Achieve More Training Ltd had agreed a sponsorship package with NFA football club to provide football playing kits, coaching kits and training equipment. Covering 6 girls grassroots teams – U7, U9, U 11, U12, U 14, U16 and the ladies team. Plus 6 boys development teams – U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 and a new U19 teams. Plus 5 boys development teams U9, U10, U11, U12, U14. 

Rebecca Hansen, Head Coach, thanked Achieve More training, “Its been great to be able to present our teams and coaches with this brand new kit and equipment, there has been a lot of smiling faces at training this last couple of weeks and now they can’t wait to play again!” 

Mark Orme, Coach Education Manager at Achieve More Training has worked closely with NFA football club, “NFA have the same ethos as Achieve More Training, having the right values – supporting players and coaches at the grassroots level whilst also providing a high quality environment for development and learning for those that want a career in Sport too.” 

NFA football club, who are soon to be based at the rejuvenated Rhyl town council Ffordlas community centre in Rhyl, have also worked with Achieve More training to enhance their Coach Education pathway in Rhyl. Providing teaching and mentoring for 20 community coaches, and a group of 12 students from a local 6th form school through fully funded 1st4sport level 2 sport coaching courses.
