Matt is the Founder and Director of Achieve More Training Ltd. He is an experienced Coach Educator with a background in Sport Development and Work-Based Learning.

Matt holds a UEFA B Licence qualification, PGCE Post 16, as well as a BSc (Hons) in Science and Football.

Matt has worked as a Sport Coach across Europe, America and Australia in the early 2000’s. He has 10 years experience in Local Authority and Sport Development with Denbighshire County Council, Sport Wales and Streetgames. More recently, Matt has worked within Coach Education for the FAW, The FA, WRU, Cricket Wales, Disability Sport Wales and created the coach education programme for British Dodgeball. In this time, Matt won accolades from Denbighshire County Council as ‘Leader of the Year’ for 2015 and attended the House of Lords to receive the ‘Sport Leader Centre of the Year’ across the UK in 2014.

Since working in work-based learning, Matt has worked strategically with Skills Active, Sport Leaders UK, First4sport, CIMPSA, AfPE and QIW to ensure qualifications in the Active Leisure Sector in Wales are current and purposeful. Matt is part of the Skills Active Expert working group, who review National Occupational Standards across the UK annually. Key achievements include bringing the Level 3 PE and School Sport NVQ framework and the Level 5/6 Primary PE Co-ordinator qualifications to Wales for Practitioners to access.
