Rich Cashman – North Wales Pre-Apprentice Tutor / Trainee Assessor

Rich is a driven and innovative professional with rich experience in a multitude of sectors and professions, including coaching, teaching, counselling, and health and social care. He is A UEFA B qualified coach with over nine years of coaching experience in Wales and the United States, having worked with all age levels from under-8’s to senior football. Rich graduated with a Sports Coaching degree from Cardiff Metropolitan University and a PGCE FE from Grwp Llandrillo Menai. He has just completed his Level 3 Counselling qualification at Grwp Llandrillo Menai and is nearing the conclusion of his Introducing health and social care (K102) qualification while also working as a Wellbeing Officer in Gwynedd Council’s Social Services.

He has also completed a variety of other professional qualifications, such as the Disability Inclusion Certificate, Care Certificate, Autism Awareness and FA Psychology, and Talent ID Level 1. He created The Sporting Influencer website a few years ago to encourage and educate coaches on how to engage with sporting parents, as well as The Sporting Resource, where coaches can share, learn, and discuss everything relating to coaching.

In October 2021, Rich completed his second marathon, running the London Marathon whilst raising money for Ataxia UK.
