Joe Havey – Company Director

Joe is one of the founders of Achieve More Training, and is also a Director. Joe is an experienced leader in work-based learning, having held senior leadership roles since 2010 and a Managing Director position since 2015.

Prior to this, Joe’s worked in sports coaching. Initially, he was involved in Community Sports Projects, as well as coaching in the USA and in Europe. Then, later, he held roles delivering and developing sport and Physical Education for primary school’s, as well as coaching football within an academy structure. This included curriculum planning, managing teams of coaches and providing CPD for primary school staff involved with the delivery of school sports and P.E.

This experience allowed Joe to move in to work-based learning, specialising in helping schools to ensure that they had the right knowledge, skills & qualified staff within the team to meet the needs of the pupils and the curriculum.

Joe continued to build on this experience, leading teams of teachers, tutors and assessors, quality assurance, administration, business development and MIS staff to deliver effective and successful provision. Some achievements to note include leading in successful OFSTED inspections, gaining Prime contracts from ESFA for both Apprenticeships and Adult Education budget, as well as Adult Traineeships, and successfully managing sub-contracted provision and sub-contractors across multiple funding streams.
