Job Description:

Working for Bangor 1876 as a community sport apprentice. You will gain experience of developing and delivering community sessions for specific user groups including:

Football specific duties

Fun football sessions

Schools-based program

Summer camp including work with Bangor University

Assisting the Head of Youth with the day to day running of junior teams including finding and arranging venues for matches

Community support

Co-ordinating the Club’s wellbeing program, with particular reference to football  initiatives

Supporting parents fund-raising for junior teams

Identifying new approaches to engage the community

Other:

Increasing sponsorship, membership and stakeholder revenue streams.

Enhancing the club’s profile in the local community,

Supporting admin tasks related to the day-to-day running of the club including first team matchday Duties.

This role will also include:

-Applying for bids and grants through mentoring and support of the project.

-Developing commercial relationships and connections to the business community.

-Increased sponsorship, membership and stakeholder revenue streams.

..and such other reasonable duties directed by the Club Management

Desirable personal qualities:

  • Level 2 sport coaching
  • Strong sporting/footballing background.
  • Experience of coaching/working with children.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Positive attitudes

Strong communication skills
