Steve Owen – Compliance Manager

Steve is our Senior Partnership and Compliance Manager.

Steve has over 10 years’ experience in the delivery of work-based training, which includes the management of apprenticeship teams, internal/external stakeholder relationship management, compliance management and internal quality assurance and sales.

Before joining AMT Steve worked with two of the largest work-based training providers in Wales and has supported these to achieve recognised standards through Estyn and awarding body direct claim status.

Steve is a qualified IQA/Assessor with an award in Education in Training and a BA (Hons) in Leadership and Management. He has delivered assessment, quality assurance and managed apprenticeship teams across multiple sectors. These include ILM senior Leadership and Management, Leisure Management, Hospitality Management, Retail Management, Business Administration, Customer Service and Health and Social Care.

Steve has managed key accounts for some of the largest public/private sector organisations across the UK as well as a range of smaller independent businesses.

With over 20 years operational experience across multiple sectors, Steve worked 12 years within local authority managing a range of leisure and hospitality facilities. Steve also enjoyed many years successfully managing large and small teams across the retail, hospitality, and leisure industries. Throughout his career he has worked in some of the largest retail and hospitality companies in the country enjoying various management roles.

Steve loves the outdoors and is proud to be Welsh living happily with his family in North Wales.

Charlie Queen – Admin Co-ordinator

Charlie is our Admin Co-ordinator for the apprenticeship department, and has been with the company since 2021.

Charlie has over 7 years’ experience in the travel industry, which involved communicating with internal and external stakeholders to build relationships with both, as well as managing teams, managing complaints and conducting internal training.

Charlie has also gained qualifications in customer service and team leading. During her time here, she has completed her Business Administration Level 3 Diploma ahead of time and is hoping to continue her development and build more knowledge in management, as she has recently taken over managing the running of the admin office.

Rhiannon Wilson – Admin Co-ordinator

Rhiannon is a creative writing graduate, graduating from Liverpool John Moores University with a 2:1 in 2019. She is fluent in Welsh and has a passion for learning languages. She is also an avid book reader. Rhiannon worked as a student ambassador when she was at university, helping students get the most out of their university experience. She believes that you never finish learning, and that there’s always something to be learnt from every experience you have.

Annabelle Clinton – On-Programme administrator

Annabelle first joined Achieve More on the traineeship programme. During this time, she improved on her English and Maths and gained a Level 1 Assistant Coaching qualification.

In February of 2021, she gained employment within the company as an Apprentice Administrator. Since then, she has completed her Business Administration Level 2 Diploma, Level 2 Digital Literacy, Level 2 Communication Skills and Level 2 Application of Number. She now works as an on-programme administrator, completing all administrative tasks across the three programmes whilst learners are on programme.

Annabelle is looking forward to gaining more experience within administration and obtaining further qualifications.

Sarah Clarke – Admin Apprentice

Sarah has experience in both customer service and retail management roles. She has recently joined our team as an admin apprentice.

In her spare time, Sarah enjoys walking and singing at open mic nights.
